VCS protocol version not updated after Solaris 11.4 ABE upgrade along with InfoScale upgrade from 7.4.2 to 8.0 (4054619)

When an InfoScale 7.4.2 instance is upgraded to 8.0, the cluster protocol version is expected to be updated as well. However, if an Alternate Boot Environment (ABE) upgrade is performed on a Solaris system alongside the InfoScale upgrade, the protocol version remains unchanged. The cluster protocol version for 7.4.2 is 10000 and that for 8.0 is 11000.
Workaround: Perform the following tasks to update the cluster protocol version after such an upgrade.
  1. Identify the existing cluster protocol version.
# haclus -version -info
  1. Check whether the cluster is compatible with the higher protocol version.
# haclus -version -verify <higher_protocol_version>
  1. Upgrade the cluster to the newer protocol version.
# haclus -version -update <higher_protocol_version>
