Configuring the netmask for LLT

Last published : Sep 11, 2026
For nodes on different subnets, set the netmask so that the nodes can access the subnets in use. Run the following command and answer the prompt to set the netmask:
\# ifconfig interface_name netmask netmask
For example:
  • For the first network interface on the node sys1:
    IP address=192.168.9.1, Broadcast address=192.168.9.255,
    Netmask=255.255.255.0
    For the first network interface on the node sys2:
    IP address=192.168.9.2, Broadcast address=192.168.9.255,
    Netmask=255.255.255.0
  • For the second network interface on the node sys1: IP address=192.168.10.1, Broadcast address=192.168.10.255, Netmask=255.255.255.0

    For the second network interface on the node sys2:

    ```txt
    IP address=192.168.10.2, Broadcast address=192.168.10.255,
    Netmask=255.255.255.0
