Support for volume encryption

Last published : Jun 12, 2026
InfoScale supports encrypting data at rest for replicated volumes. It helps you to take regular backups of the encrypted volumes. Encryption uses the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) cryptographic algorithm with 256-bit key size validated by the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Publication 140-2, (FIPS PUB 140-2) security standard. The volume encryption process uses the Key Management Server (KMS) to secure volume encryption.
