UEFI Secure Boot support
Arctera InfoScale supports deployment on Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) firmware-based systems that have the Secure Boot feature enabled. InfoScale kernel modules and driver packages are digitally signed using the Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) release signatures. Digital signatures help validate the authenticity and integrity of the kernel drivers before they are loaded by the operating system. This validation process supports a secure deployment mechanism by ensuring that only authenticated InfoScale kernel modules can run on the systems. Secure Boot support is available for on-premise as well as AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud deployments.
