Overview
InfoScale provides high-performance, enterprise-grade persistent storage for OpenShift and Kubernetes environments by supporting both Direct-Attached Storage (DAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) architectures. It integrates with Container Orchestrators via a CSI plugin, offering advanced features such as Dynamic Multipathing (DMP), volume cloning, snapshots, and FIPS-compliant AES 256-bit encryption. The solution is highly scalable, allowing multiple independent InfoScale clusters—each containing up to 16 nodes—to operate within a single container environment to optimize resource utilization and performance.
To ensure data integrity and high availability, InfoScale utilizes robust I/O fencing mechanisms, including majority-based and disk-based configurations, to prevent data corruption during split-brain scenarios or node failures. For disaster recovery, InfoScale supports cross-site application migration between on-premise and cloud environments (AWS/Azure) using Volume Replicator (VVR). This comprehensive suite supports stateful applications, providing a reliable, secure, and compliant storage framework managed through an active lifecycle licensing model.
