Inclusion of VCS agents for third-party applications, databases, and replication with InfoScale

With this release, InfoScale includes some of the agents that enable high availability for third-party applications, databases, and replication configurations. These agents were previously available as standalone packages that could be installed individually. Now, these agents are available as part of the VRTSVCSAgents.msi package. The InfoScale product installer (VPI) manages the installation of these agents as part of the overall InfoScale package deployment.
The following agents are now included in the InfoScale packages:
  • Application agents:
    • Data Loss Prevention
    • IBM WebSphere Application Server
    • IBM WebSphere MQ
    • Oracle WebLogic Server
    • SAP NetWeaver
    • SAP Web Application Server
  • Replication agents:
    • Dell EMC SRDF
    • Dell EMC Unity
    • Hitachi TrueCopy (HTC)
    • HP 3PAR Remote Copy
    • Oracle GoldenGate
    • PureStorage ActiveDR
