About global reports

This InfoScale Operations Manager patch introduces a global reporting feature, which facilitates collection of InfoScale deployment data from multiple management servers.

Managing global reports

To use the global reporting feature, you access the new Global Reports perspective from the menu bar and first add the required management servers. Thereafter, you use customized SQL queries to create and run reports, which comprise data that is collected from those management servers. The Global Reports perspective also lets you manage subscriptions for the available reports.

Prerequisite

Ensure that port 5636 is open on any management server that you want to add to the Global Reports perspective. This requirement also applies to the main Central Management Server (CMS), which is the management server from which you plan to generate the global reports.
