Configuring Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager Management Server on Linux using CLI

You can configure Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager CMS using CLI on Linux.
To configure Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager CMS using CLI
  1. Install Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager CMS on the Linux host. After installation, from the command prompt, run the following command to start the configuration:

  1. # /opt/VRTSsfmh/bin/perl /opt/VRTSsfmcs/bin/cli_cms_config.pl
  2. By default, the Hostname,IP address, and the** Database** location for the CMS is displayed. You can either accept the default values or enter the values manually.
  3. Enter (Y) to start the configuration using the default values.
After successful configuration, the Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager CMS URL is displayed.
  1. Copy and paste the URL in the browser and sign in to the Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager CMS GUI.
    Note: If you enter (N), CLI quits the configuration and displays two options. Choose any one of the options that you want to do.
