Configuring the Management Server settings
You can perform the following tasks in the Server settings tab in Management Server:

| Configuring two-factor authentication | You can enable or disable the two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect user accounts from getting compromised. |
| A combination of user's login credentials and a six-digit PIN is used for two-factor authentication. The users are authenticated to access the Management Console only on successful validation of the combination of user's login credentials and the PIN. | |
| Note: Only the root level users or the administrators can enable or disable the two-factor authentication. | |
| Analytics gathering settings | Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager provides statistical information such as the frequency of use of particular features or views of the Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager user interface in your organization to help analyze product usage. You can allow Veritas to analyze this data by enabling the analytics gathering feature on Management Server |
| Data retention policy settings | You can set the period for retaining the alert and the task logs using the Database Retention Policy Settings . |
