Suppressing faults and restoring the suppressed faults for hosts
Using the Management Server console inVeritas InfoScale Operations Manager 7.4, you can suppress and restore the suppressed faults for one or more hosts.
To suppress faults

In the Home page on the Management Server console, navigate to Settings > Faults & Risks.

In the Faults & Risks wizard, click Fault Management.

Click Suppress/Unsuppress Faults.

In the Suppress/Unsuppress Faults using Hosts wizard panel, click Browse to select the CSV file.
The format of the CSV files must be:

Note: Only those hosts which are part of the CMS are visible. The hosts which are not a part of the CMS are ignored.

Click Import selected file and select the Host Name checkbox to select the hosts.

Click Finish.Note: Alert notifications, SNMP, and SNMPv3 traps are turned off while the faults are suppressed for hosts.
To restore suppressed faults

In the Home page on the Management Server console, navigate toSettings > Faults & Risks.

In the Faults & Risks wizard, click Fault Definition.

Click Suppress/Unsuppress Faults.

Select Unsuppress/Restore Faults and select the hosts for which you want to restore the faults.

Click Ok.

Click Close.
