License entitlement file download: The license entitlement file is a Arctera-owned license information file that includes the various license types and applicable entitlements. The entitlement file is hosted in LAS and you can log on to the portal to download the file. Once you have the file, you will then have to import that file in to your LMS deployment.

License meter file download: The license meter file includes the Core Plus licensing requirements that are calculated based on the physical core count of the server CPU and the processor coefficient performance rating. The license meter file is hosted in LAS and you can log on to the LAS portal to download the file. Once you have the file, you will then have to import that file in to your LMS deployment.

Usage report upload: Your LMS deployment is able to scan your InfoScale environment and generate a consolidated report of all the product usage and licensing details. Once this report is generated from LMS, you can log on to the LAS portal and upload the report into LAS to share it with Arctera.

Registration key generation: The .alf registration file is required for registering your LMS deployment. The registration file includes a host lock string that contains the LMS host information to ensure that the registration key can only be used to activate the product on an LMS host that matches the host information encoded in the registration key. Log on to the LAS portal to download the registration key for your LMS deployment. Once you have the registration file, you will then have to import that file in to your LMS deployment.
