About user group permissions
When you create user groups, local or global, you need to assign a permission to the group. The options are: Guest, Operator, and Administrator. The below list explains the operations which are not permitted for user groups having a Guest and Operator role. Which means if you want a user to be able to perform a specific operation such as suppressing a fault then ensure that the user belongs to the group that has an Operator or Administrator role.

All license-related operations such as updating the license meter file, updating the entitlement file, assigning or reassigning entitlements are not allowed for user groups having Guest role.

All manage hosts and Kubernetes worker node operations are not allowed for user groups having a Guest role.

Managing faults (suppress or un-suppress) is not allowed for user groups having a Guest role.

Downloading audit logs and reports is not allowed for user groups having a Guest role.

Product key registration, SMTP settings, user access management, email reports is not allowed for user groups having Operator and Guest role.
Users with Administrator role are allowed to perform all operations on the console.
