Viewing the License Lifecycle report

The license Lifecycle report tracks the lifecycle of a license in your data center. The report displays the name of the host on which the licenses are detected. The license key name and the product Storage Foundation and Storage Foundation for high availability product name for which the license is detected.
You can also view the type of the operation that InfoScale Operations Manager has performed to get the details of the license along with the date and time at which the operation was performed. For example, when InfoScale Operations Manager detects a license, it shows the type as License detected. If InfoScale Operations Manager cannot locate a managed host, the type is displayed as Host removed.
You can perform the following tasks in this view:
  • Subscribe for the report.
  • Save the report as a CSV file.
  • Email the report.
You can view this information related to the hosts if your user group has at least Guest role assigned on the Server perspective.
To view a License Lifecycle report
  1. In the Home page on the Management Server console, click Licensing.
  2. Click the Reports tab.
  3. Click the License Lifecycle report.
