Viewing the resources in a cluster
You can use the Management Server console to view the details of resources in a cluster. You can view the name of the resource, its type, state, enabled state, and name of the service group that is associated with the resource.
Some of the information that you can obtain from this view:
-
Flags: Shows exceptions for the state of a resource. For example, Restarting, Monitor Timed Out, State Unknown, Unable to Offline, and Admin Wait.
-
Faulted on: Shows the name of the system on which the resource is faulted.
From this view, you can view the information on logs for the resources. You can also perform the high availability operations on the resources from this view. For example, link, unlink, online, offline, enable, disable, and delete a resource.
You can view this information related to the clusters for which your user group has at least Guest role explicitly assigned or inherited from a parent Organization. You can also view information if your user group has at least Guest role assigned on the Availability perspective.
