Rename Disk panel options
Use this wizard panel to provide a Storage Foundation name for the disk you want to rename in a disk group.
Select one of the following options to name the disk:

| Field | Description |

| Device Name | Select this option to label the disk using the name of the disk. |
| This option is not available if the Enable Flexible Storage Sharing option was selected for the disk group. | |
| Disk Group Name as Prefix | Select this option to use the name of the disk group as the prefix for the disk. |
| Custom Prefix | Select this option to specify a custom disk prefix. Enter the prefix in the corresponding field. Click on Populate Names to assign the prefix as the new name for the disks. |
| Custom Disk Name | Select this option to specify a custom disk name. Enter the disk name in the corresponding field. |
