Viewing the faults related to virtualization objects in an Organization

You can use the Management Server console to view all faults that are generated for all objects in a selected Organization. The information includes the state of the faulty object (for example, offline Disk), the name of the faulty object, the name of the virtualization server managing the object in the Organization, and the date and time when the fault was detected. The Faults and Alerts chart in the Overview tab also displays the summary of generated faults.
You can view this information related to the virtualization servers for which your user group has at least guest role explicitly assigned or inherited from a parent Organization. You can also view the information if your user group has at least guest role assigned on the Virtualization perspective.
To view the faults related to virtualization objects in an Organization
  1. In the Management Server console, go to the Virtualization perspective and expand Manage in the left pane.
  2. Expand Data Center and click the required Organization.
  3. Click the Faults tab.
