Viewing an overview of the databases

You can use the Management Server console to view a table that lists all the databases in the data center, including various database properties.
You can also view databases that are discovered via ApplicationHA.
Note: You need administrator's credentials for databases to perform discovery of all database instances by InfoScale Operations Manager.
Overview information for each database includes details such host, database version, state, and amount of space used.
To view operations you can perform, right-click a database. For example, you can perform replication tasks related to Volume Replicator.
You can search the database list by database name.
You can view this information related to the hosts for which your user group has at least Guest role explicitly assigned or inherited from a parent Organization. You can also view the information if your user group has at least Guest role assigned on the Server perspective.
To view an overview of the databases
  1. In the Management Server console, go to the Server perspective and expand Manage in the left pane.
  2. Under Data Center , expand Applications and select Databases.
  3. Click the Databases tab.
Overview information is shown in the table.
  1. To view an overview of databases organized by type, click to expand the Databases node, then click the node for the database type. Only database types for discovered databases appear as nodes in the tree.
