Viewing information about a disk group
You can use the Management Server console to select a disk group that is associated with a host and view the overview and the detailed information about it.
You can view this information related to the hosts for which your user group has at least Guest role explicitly assigned or inherited from a parent Organization. You can also view the information if your user group has at least Guest role assigned on the Server perspective.
To view information about a disk group

In the Management Server console, go to the Server perspective and expand Manage in the left pane.

Expand the Organization or Uncategorized Hosts to locate the host.

Expand the host.

Expand Disk Groups and select a disk group.
The Overview tab includes a chart showing the following

Disk group utilization

A list of faults and alerts

An asset summary showing the number of volumes, file systems, and disks, and the capacity

Click the Disks tab to display information about the disks in the disk group. The same categories of information are shown as when viewing the Disks tab for a host.

Click the Volumes tab to display information about the volumes in the disk group.
