Viewing the volumes in shared disk groups in a CVM cluster
You can use the Management Server console to view the volumes in shared disk groups in a CVM cluster. Some of the details for volumes are condition, state, host name, disk group, size, layout, mount point, and file system type and size.
To view operations you can perform, right-click a volume. The same operations are available as when you view volumes for a host. Some of the operations you can perform include resizing, snapshot operations, and file system operations.
To view the volumes in shared disk groups in a CVM cluster
-
In the Management Server console, go to the Server perspective and expand Manage in the left pane.
-
Under Data Center, expand Storage Clusters and select the cluster name in the tree.
You can also search for a cluster by entering a few letters of the cluster name on the Storage Clusters tab. If you double-click a cluster name on the tab, you can navigate to the cluster in the tree.
-
Click the Volumes tab.
Since a volume may be mounted at multiple nodes in the cluster, the Mount Points subtab shows the hosts in the cluster and the mount points for the selected volume.
You can filter the details of the volumes based on any of the following criteria: All, shared, and private.
