Viewing the Storage Allocation report

In InfoScale Operations Manager, the Storage Allocation report displays the allocation and consumption of storage by managed hosts.
The report displays the following details using charts:
  • Total storage discovered by Storage Foundation.
  • Comparison between the storage consumed by space optimized snapshot and full snapshot.
  • Storage savings with space optimized snapshot volumes
Additional details are available if you save the report as CSV.
You can view this information related to the hosts for which your user group has at least Guest role explicitly assigned or inherited from a parent Organization. You can also view the information if your user group has a role assigned on the Server perspective.
To view the Storage Allocation report
  1. In the Management Server console, go to the Server perspective and expand Reports in the left pane.
  2. With the Storage Utilization category displayed, click the Storage Allocation report.
  3. In the Select Scope to run report wizard panel, select the scope of the report and click Run.
