Viewing the disks used to create a storage container in an Organization

Last published : Jul 06, 2026
You can use the Management Server console to view the physical disks that are used to create a storage container. The information includes the name of the disk, its condition (healthy or faulty), the name of the storage enclosure it belongs to, the number of paths on the disk, its media type, its disk group name, vendor name and other properties.
Under the Paths tab, you can view the details about the paths on the physical disk. For example, the name of the disk path, its multipathing type, its state, and initiator.
You can view this information related to the virtualization servers for which your user group has at least guest role explicitly assigned or inherited from a parent Organization. You can also view the information if your user group has at least guest role assigned on the Virtualization perspective.
